Story behind the Music
J-$ee Mentalz and I used to spend a lot of time in my home studio, where he made the beat back in 2015. The beat was on my computer when I traveled outside of the US for the first time. It gives me a special vibe, a vibe I got into in Trujillo, Peru, where I recorded the first part of the song as a sketch, planning to re-record.
Fast forward 2 years later, I find myself in Barranquilla, Colombia, after a journey by land across South America and back (and North). I revisited the recording and decided to leave the original audio, as it has a certain feel I find genuine. I hope you enjoy!

Douglas Butner founded cXc in 2014. As a conscious rapper, he saw his and his friends’ music not getting the plays it should, while music that was often low-vibrational blasted through the radio and centralized channels. After developing web apps since the age of 16, Douglas created cXc.world to level the playing field for all types of creators.
As a teacher and founder of the Aquarius.Academy school of consciousness, Douglas has great interest in making the Earth Experience more conducive for growth through harmonization + collaboration. A visual thinker, Douglas saw the biomimetic algorithm running cXc.world changing the geometry of content distribution as lights popping up around the world and connecting to grow. Douglas remains focused on improving how we communicate and collaborate ideas and media through cXc.
Cláudio Gomes was born in 19 of February of 1991.
Cláudio started his musical journey 19 years ago, getting started on the trumpet in a philarmonic band. Since then, the involvement with music never ceased.
Cláudio has background from classical orchestra to classic and modern Big Band, going all the way to Afrobeat, Funk, Ska, Folk, Balkan Beats, Bossa Nova and Hip Hop.
Cláudio believes in the power that Decentralized blockchains may have to shape the society into a more harmonious and fair version of itself and that was one of the main reasons why he volunteered himself.
Cláudio Gomes participated in the recording of 4 albums, 1 EP and multiple participation with multiple projects from the Lisbon Music Scene.
Guillermo has been always surrounded by music. His cousins were part of a heavy metal band. One of his cousins was playing the electric guitar and the other one the drums. This gave him the opportunity of learning how to play the drums at an early age. This gave Guillermo a passion for hard rock music, specially groups from the 80’s. Guillermo’s sister sings in a Jazz group and her partner plays the trumpet.
Guillermo however never pursued a musical career. He has dedicated his professional life to computers and technology.
Guillermo believes in the future of blockchain and how this technology can solve multiple challenges present in the current society. cXc is trying to help independent local musicians to have better exposure and a fair payment from people enjoying their music. Guillermo strongly believes in this concept and therefore did not hesitate to volunteer to help cXc.
My name is Karelia, I’m a Peruvian nomad who travels the world and walks the path of the evolution of consciousness.
I like to express my creativity as a digital artist, especially with 2D and 3D animation, collage art and web design.
I’m also a spiritual seeker, writer, teacher, medicine woman and alchemist. I like to think of myself as a passionate vessel of life and an inspired being of unity.
